Proper care and maintenance will extend the life of your sauna and help maintain your warranty coverage.
Always sit or lie on a towel to absorb sweat and protect the timber.
Place a towel or mat on the floor to prevent moisture buildup.
After each use, leave the door open for at least 2 hours.
Keep the roof vent open between sessions to allow airflow and prevent mold or warping.
Clean benches and surfaces with a soft cloth using a 1:1 mix of water and white vinegar.
Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
Small cracks, minor gaps, or timber movement may occur over time due to temperature and humidity changes.
This is a normal part of the sauna aging process and does not affect performance.
If mold appears:
Run the sauna at 70°C for 1 hour to dry it out.
Spray affected areas with a 1:1 vinegar and water mix.
Gently scrub with a soft brush.
Leave the sauna open to dry completely.
Prevention is simple — wipe down and ventilate after every use.
Outdoor saunas require regular maintenance due to sun and weather exposure.
Apply a high-quality exterior timber oil or marine-grade coating once assembled.
Check the exterior coating every 3 months for fading, dryness, or cracking.
Recoat promptly if needed.
Reapply protective coating at least once per year (or sooner in high UV areas).
Outdoor timber may fade, slightly shrink, expand, or develop small surface cracks over time.
This is normal and part of the natural aging process.
For extra protection, consider using a fitted outdoor cover when not in use.
Apply the included clear protective coating to the black timber frame after installation.
Inspect annually and reapply as needed.
Apply silicone to designated joins as outlined in the manual to ensure proper sealing.
