Infrared light (an essential component for sustaining human life) is naturally emitted by the sun and although invisible to the naked eye, we perceive it as heat.

Infrared rays effectively warm the body and trigger reactions such as sweating and increased heart rate, by directly penetrating the skin. In contrast to traditional saunas that rely on coal or electricity to heat the entire room, infrared saunas directly heat the body through these rays. This direct heating allows for a faster increase in core body temperature, reducing the need for extremely high sauna temperatures and lengthy sessions.

Infrared heat comprises various wavelengths, namely near, mid, and far. Each wavelength penetrates the body in distinct ways. Far infrared, present in our standard 2 and 3 person saunas, permeates the body from the skin to the cellular level, facilitating all the benefits mentioned earlier. Our premium sauna includes 3 full spectrum heaters, emitting near and mid wavelengths as well, which possess the capability to reach deeper tissue structures within the body.
